Students must contact the UGA Regulatory Affairs Department and advise the department of the course selections. Upon review, you will be cleared to register through the OASIS System. Grade Appeals: University of Georgia students have the right to appeal academic decisions. The burden of proof for appeal rests with the student. The policies governing the process of appealing grades are covered in the Academic Affairs Policy Manual, General Academic Policy: Student Appeals (Section 4.05-01). All grade appeals must be initiated in writing to the instructor within one calendar year from the end of the term in which the grade was recorded. The process for appealing a grade in the Regulatory Affairs Department noted in this document.
Registration Clearance: It is the student's responsibility to contact this office detailing your plans for the upcoming semester in order to be cleared to register. We have added this web page that outlines our upcoming course offerings. Please refer to this page prior to the start of the new semester. You must contact the office by email. Only when the student receives an email confirmation will he/she be cleared to register. If this office does not hear from you, we will assume you are not enrolling for the upcoming semester and thus you will not be cleared to register.
