Course Information for
Reg Affairs Certificate Students
last updated on: October 12, 2009
This page is for students admitted into the RA Certificate Program.
Important: Certificate students must now assume the responsibility of
- Tracking and assuring their program path to its completion and
- Notifying the UGA Regulatory Affairs Office of their plans for upcoming semesters.
Prior to the start of a given semester, students should review the table below and identify the courses in which they wish to enroll. Students must contact the UGA Regulatory Affairs Department and advise the department of the course selections. Upon review, you will be cleared to register through the OASIS System. Failure to contact the Regulatory Affairs Office will result in the inability to register for classes.

Grade Appeals: University of Georgia students have the right to appeal academic decisions. The burden of proof for appeal rests with the student. The policies governing the process of appealing grades are covered in the Academic Affairs Policy Manual, General Academic Policy: Student Appeals (Section 4.05-01). All grade appeals must be initiated in writing to the instructor within one calendar year from the end of the term in which the grade was recorded. The process for appealing a grade in the Regulatory Affairs Department noted in this document.
Registration Clearance: It is the student's responsibility to contact this office detailing plans for the upcoming semester in order to be cleared to register. We have added this web page that outlines our upcoming course offerings. Please refer to this page prior to the start of the new semester. You must contact the office by email. Only when the student receives an email confirmation will he/she be cleared to register. If this office does not hear from you, we will assume you are not enrolling for the upcoming semester and thus you will not be cleared to register.
Projection: Certificate students must also identify the semesters in which you want to take your four certificate program courses. This will aid us in the planning of our course offerings. Email your updated program paths to the Regulatory Affairs Office.
Course Offerings: The course offerings listed above web are subject to change depending on student needs. Furthermore, we must have a minimum of 5 students to enroll in a given class in order to offer the course.
Certificate Completion: At the start of the semester in which you expect to complete your certificate program, please send me an email reminder that you will be completing your certificate program.
Check back often as the courses listed may change.
