On this page, you will find: 1) the Regulatory Affairs Certificate Program Application, 2) the Clinical Trials Design and Management Program Application, and 3) the link to UGA's Graduate School Office. Please read this page carefully.

Applying to the Regulatory Affairs Graduate Education Certificate Program is a two-step process. You will need to submit our departmental application (step one) and an application to the UGA Graduate School (step two).

Be sure to start this process at least 6 weeks prior to the deadline to assure that materials are received by the deadlines. All materials must be received by the departmental deadlines. We will consider only complete applications .

Regulatory Affairs Graduate Education Certificate Program Application:

This application is for the Certificate Program only. Courses completed in the Certificate Program may be used at a later time to fulfill a portion of the coursework for the Masters of Science Degree in Pharmacy (with an emphasis in Regulatory Affairs). The Master's Program is a separate application process and additional admission criteria is required.

  1. This Program Application is a department application specific to the Regulatory Affairs Graduate Education Program.
  2. Admissions decisions will be made only on complete files.
  3. Deadlines: Applications for admission and all supporting documents(including all Graduate School Application materials) must be received in the Regulatory Affairs Office by:

  1. Applicant will also need to submit a University of Georgia Graduate School Application and supply the necessary information to Graduate School. This is a separate application process. The web address for UGA's Graduate School is www.applyweb.com/apply/ugagrad/. Be sure to note that you are non-degree seeking candidate (and the Major Code is 0944).
  2. The application forms below have been created in Adobe Acrobat. You will need Adobe Reader in order to view and print it. If you have the full version of Adobe Acrobat, you may fill out this form on your computer, save it, print it, and mail it in with the other requested information. Do not email this application to the department for security reasons. Emailed applications will not be considered.

Once a decision has been made on your application, you will be contacted by the UGA Graduate School.   1. Letters of Recommendation: Use the UGA Graduate School online recommendation form for your letters. Although the UGA Graduate School says the applicant needs 3 letters of recommendation, for this Certificate Program you need only 2. For the third recommendation form field, simply enter your email address to complete the required fields. All letters must be complete by the deadline in order for the applicant to be considered.
  2. No GRE Scores are required for admission consideration to the Certificate Program.
  3. Use caution if sending any information by email. Email servers are not secure to handle sensitive information like social security numbers.
  4. Financial Aid is not available for Certificate-admitted students. For questions on Financial Aid, please contact the UGA Financial Aid Office.

Application Process (a two-step process): (Remember to start this application process at least 6 weeks prior to the deadline listed.)

Step I. Complete Regulatory Affairs Graduate Education Program Application.

Provide the Reg Affairs Department with:

  1. Personal Profile: Two-page Personal Information Profile found in the Regulatory Affairs Graduate Education Program Application document.
  2. Statement of Purpose: Provide a statement of purpose - 1 page in length to address why you are interested in this program.
  3. Resume: Professional résumé outlining applicant's regulatory affairs experience.

Step II. Complete the UGA Graduate School Application as Non-degree seeking student

Provide the UGA Graduate School with:

  1. Application: Graduate School application - The Graduate School will accept only online applications.

  2. Recommendation letters: Two (2) letters of recommendation - Use the UGA Graduate School online recommendation form for your letters. Although the UGA Graduate School says the applicant needs 3 letters of recommendation, for this Certificate Program you need only 2. For the 3rd recommendation form field, simply enter your email address to complete the required fields. All letters must be complete by the deadline in order for the applicant to be considered.
  3. UGA Graduate School Fee: A $50 application fee is required.
  1. Transcripts - For domestic and international applicants, send two (2) official copies of academic transcripts from the institution awarding the highest degree. For nondegree admission, only the transcript from the highest degree earned is required.

Hints to filling out Graduate School Application:

Online Application: The Certificate program major code is 0944. Please select 0944 Regulatory Affairs as your intended major of study. Then select ND (non-degree seeking) as your Intended Degree of Study.

Allow 10-14 working days for receipt and processing of these materials by the Graduate School Admissions Office.

The University of Georgia will admit students based on admission criteria set by the university. Applicants must be accepted by the Graduate School. Applicants are responsible for providing for all the necessary application materials required by the Graduate School. These include: general application for admission, $50 application fee, transcripts, and entrance test scores.
