WELCOME!

Phi Delta Chi is a national co-educational fraternity founded on November 2nd, 1883, at the University of Michigan School of Pharmacy in Ann Arbor by 11 pharmacy students.  Since then, more than 40,000 students have made the decision to become Brothers of Phi Delta Chi.  At the University of Georgia, the Alpha Iota chapter was founded on May 29th, 1937.  We are the oldest pharmacy fraternity at the College of Pharmacy as well as in the state of Georgia.
The objective of this fraternity is simply to live by our motto, Alterum Alterius Auxilio Eget, meaning, "Each needs the help of the other." We dedicate ourselves to cultivate and provide leadership, social services to the community, and professionalism within the field of pharmacy. Our co-ed composition is unique and we are proud of the diversity of our members, with individuality being respected and encouraged.
