Philanthropy:  Lambda Kappa Sigma proudly supports Project Hope, which is dedicated to helping those "help themselves."  Project HOPE alleviates suffering, saves lives, and helps communities attain lasting improvements in health care. By providing health education, health policy research, and humanitarian assistance, HOPE is helping people around the world to live longer, healthier lives. HOPE (Health Opportunities for People Everywhere) was originally known for the S.S. HOPE, the world's first peacetime hospital ship, which had its maiden voyage in 1960.  To find out more, visit them at: http://www.projhope.org

The Big John Foundation is a new philanthropy we are taking on this year.  The Big John Foundation was founded after a 1997 UGA COP Graduate, John Smith aka “Big John” was tragically killed in a car accident.  He was a strong supporter of the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy and dear friend to all.  This foundation raises money to provide scholarships for pharmacy students at the University of Georgia.  The organization also encourages alumni support and keeping in touch after college.
