Welcome to the home page of the Drug Discovery Group at the College of Pharmacy, The University of Georgia. Our research group focus is on the design and discovery of compounds for the treatment of various emerging infectious diseases. Our main area of research includes the structure-based drug design and synthesis of novel agents against human immunodeficiency virus (HIV), hepatitis B virus (HBV), hepatitis C virus (HCV), and cancer.
