Chris Bland Named College of Pharmacy 2018 Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Chris M. Bland, PharmD, FCCP, FIDSA, BCPS, clinical associate professor at the College of Pharmacy’s Southeast Georgia Clinical Campus in Savannah! Dr. Bland has been named College of Pharmacy 2018 Teacher of the Year. Selected by college faculty, outside faculty, and Pharm.D., B.S. and graduate students, Dr. Bland was chosen for his outstanding contributions to the college’s instructional programs. Frequently published in peer-reviewed journals and a sought-after conference speaker, Dr. Bland specializes in critical care, infectious diseases, drug dosing in obesity and antimicrobial stewardship. As a clinical pharmacy specialist at St. Joseph’s/Candler Health System in Savannah, Dr. Bland has been a mentor to many students and alumni. Kudos on this well-deserved honor, Dr. Bland!
