Endowed Funds

Creating an endowment is an excellent way of investing in the University of Georgia College of Pharmacy. Endowments can generate student scholarships, programmatic and academic support funds, named chairs and professorships, and other enhancement opportunities.

After an endowment is fully funded (or "paid off" in its entirety), as well as invested favorably for one full fiscal year, income from the endowment is distributed annually pursuant to policies adopted by the University of Georgia Foundation. In fact, the premier development goal for the College of Pharmacy is to increase endowment levels so that every deserving student may receive a scholarship.

Please support one of our existing endowments like the Dawgtoberfest fund that helps make this event possible every year--or create your own endowment today! You--and generations of UGA College of Pharmacy students--will be glad you did!

How to Start a Scholarship

Endowing a scholarship is an ideal way to make a lasting contribution to the College. By making a gift of $25,000 (payable over up to 5 years) you will be helping future pharmacy students in perpetuity. The principal of your gift will be invested, and every year we will use the interest to award a scholarship to a deserving student who fits the guidelines of your scholarship.
