Nominations Requested: Distinguished Alumnus and Distinguished Service Awards

Calling all nominations! It’s time once again to nominate UGA College of Pharmacy alumni and friends for the Distinguished Alumnus Award and Distinguished Service Award. These awards recognize those who have demonstrated excellence and service to the pharmacy profession. If you know of someone who has made outstanding contributions to the College or to the pharmacy profession please send their name to Kim Hamby, Director of Alumni Affairs, at kihamby@uga.edu, complete with a brief description of why they are deserving of one of these honors by September 1st. The winners will be announced at this year’s Homecoming Tailgate on Saturday, October 4th.

Attention Pharmdawgs! Join us on Saturday, October 4th for the 2014 Homecoming Tailgate, Class Reunions for Classes of 2009, 2004, 1999, 1994 and 1989, and 50th Anniversary Celebration of the R.C. Wilson Building. The festivities begin three hours prior to kickoff & registration details will be available soon. UGARx Print/Online Changes

Beginning with the Fall 2014 issue of UGARx, we will only be printing and mailing the magazine to those alumni donors and friends who have contributed more than $500 annually to the College of Pharmacy.

All issues of UGARx will continue to be posted on our website (www.rx.uga.edu) for alumni to download and print as they please. We will send emails and online notices to everyone about the quarterly postings of UGARx.
