Major Gifts
Gifts to the College which exceed $25,000 are considered major gifts. These contributions can be paid in full as one-time gifts or pledged and paid in installments over five years. Gifts made at this level allow the College to recognize donors by naming facilities or endowing specialized funds and scholarships that will serve our students for years to come.
Once an endowment has been created, either in the form of a scholarship or specialized fund to support a certain area of the College, the interest generated from the investment of your gift is used every year to fund your area of choice. Such endowments have helped the College excel in entrepreneurship, pharmaceutical care, graduate student research, residencies, and diversity, among other areas. Scholarships are awarded annually at a ceremony in the College.
In addition to scholarship funds and specialized endowed funds, the VisionPlus Campaign is a cornerstone of our major gift program. VisionPlus supports the much-needed construction of a new pharmacy building and offers a variety of naming opportunties to donors.
