How Can I Make a Gift to the College?
Cash gifts can be made at any time in a number of different ways. A major advantage to contributing cash gifts is they are fully tax-deductible.
1. You may choose to contribute online using a credit card.
2. Double your dollars! Many employers match charitable gifts made by employees, retired employees, or spouses of employees. Check the matching gift database to see if your company will match your gift to UGA.
3. If you wish to mail your contribution, you can print and complete this mail-in gift form and return it with your contribution.
4. You may also make a credit card contribution by phone by calling 1-888-268-5442.
Securities may also be given to the UGA College of Pharmacy. Appreciated stocks and bonds as well as marketable securities provide important income for the College while allowing the donor to avoid gift and estate taxation. These gifts also help donors avoid taxes on capital gains on the appreciation of the value of the securities.
Be sure to designate your gift "for the College of Pharmacy" when writing a check, calling or contributing online. Your gifts of cash and securities are immediately used to fund general student scholarships, travel and professional development opportunities and student recognition events.
